Business Development Manager – Modular Buildings & Rental Solutions

Phoenix, AZ | On-Site

Up to $65K-75k Base + Uncapped Commission | $150K+ Total Income Potential

We're representing an established Phoenix company in the modular building, storage container and commercial rental industry that's entering its next stage of growth.

We're looking for a sales-driven, entrepreneurial leader who wants an opportunity to do more than inherit an existing book of business.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, developing new accounts and closing business—but also has the operational ability and ambition to eventually take greater ownership of the Phoenix operation.

What You'll Be Selling

The company provides both rental and purchase solutions for customers throughout Arizona, including:

• Modular offices and commercial buildings
• Construction and job-site buildings
• Storage containers
• Modular classrooms
• Customized modular/container solutions
• Temporary and permanent space solutions

Customers include general contractors, construction companies, schools, municipalities, industrial businesses and commercial organizations.

What You'll Do

Initially, your primary focus will be business development and revenue growth.

You'll:

• Prospect and develop new customers throughout the Phoenix market
• Build relationships with contractors, commercial and industrial customers
• Generate and close new rental and sales opportunities
• Grow recurring rental revenue
• Develop existing accounts and identify additional opportunities
• Build relationships through industry associations, networking and field activity
• Track market activity, competitors and pricing
• Work closely with customers to develop the right solution for their project
• Coordinate internally to ensure projects are delivered successfully

As the business grows, so will your responsibilities.

You'll increasingly participate in:

• Branch operations
• Logistics and vendor coordination
• Customer service
• Pricing and margin management
• Hiring and team development
• Sales leadership
• Overall branch performance

The current team is small, with plans to grow as revenue expands. The long-term opportunity is to become the leader of the branch you helped build.

Who We're Looking For

We're less concerned about having the perfect title on your resume and more interested in whether you can sell, build relationships and create business.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• 3+ years of successful B2B sales or business development experience
• A demonstrated ability to prospect and close new business
• Experience developing long-term customer relationships
• Construction, rental, industrial or commercial market exposure
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to work independently and make decisions
• An entrepreneurial, hands-on mentality
• Leadership experience or the desire and ability to grow into leadership

Experience from industries such as equipment rental, modular buildings, portable storage, building materials, construction services, temporary site services, fleet rental or industrial distribution would translate particularly well.

Compensation & Opportunity

This position is intentionally structured to reward production.

Base Salary: Up to $65,000-$75,000

Commission + Bonus: $150,000+ total earning potential
