Duties

• Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, flood, fire, or mold damage restoration, demonstrating excellent emergency response readiness.
• Perform pack-out services by carefully removing and documenting personal belongings and contents from affected areas for cleaning or storage.
• Conduct water extraction, drying, cleaning, mold remediation, and fire restoration processes using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport tools, equipment, and contents to designated locations or storage facilities.
• Use hand tools, Xactimate estimating software, respiratory protection gear, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other safety protocols during all phases of restoration work.
• Execute cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Assist with asbestos abatement or other hazardous material handling when required, following all safety guidelines and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure on-call coverage for 24/7 emergency response availability.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques including flood restoration and mold remediation.
• Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly in compliance with safety standards.
• Familiarity with Xactimate estimating software is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols including respiratory protection and PPE use during hazardous tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients during stressful situations.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for emergency response coverage at any time of day or night.
