We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Conway, AR. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, handling the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating sit-down forklifts to load and unload materials from trailers, ensuring they are stacked securely in designated locations.
- Transferring materials to and from production workstations, supporting the smooth flow of operations.
- Rotating responsibilities weekly between Production, Distribution, and Warehouse areas to contribute to various aspects of our facility's functions.
- Maintaining accurate records by keeping an updated forklift log, documenting activities, and reporting any issues or concerns promptly.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Valid certification to operate forklifts (sit-down) and a solid understanding of safety protocols.
- Ability to effectively maneuver forklifts in tight spaces and busy environments, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to accurately track materials and maintain documentation.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively within a team environment.
