Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in North Carolina
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Background working with K-12th grade students a plus
• Ability to adapt interventions to a diverse population
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative approach to working with educators, parents, and support teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Complete comprehensive assessments, develop goals, and maintain documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to integrate therapy strategies into students’ daily routines
• Offer guidance and training to school staff and families regarding therapeutic supports
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based therapy
