Material Handler / Warehouse Worker- Pay up to $18/hr- IN.

Location: Indianapolis, IN.

Pay: $18/hr

Shift: 1st shift- 6:45 AM- 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday)

2nd shift- 3:30 PM - 12:30 AM (Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, quality, and documentation
• Safely unload and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
• Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies
• Label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP or other WMS systems
• Move materials to production and shipping areas as needed
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and orders
• Support shipping, receiving, picking, packing, loading, and unloading activities
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sit-down and stand-up forklift experience
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems (SAP preferred)
• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Steel-toed or composite-toed safety shoes
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing environment experience
• Cycle counting experience
• Experience with RF scanners and reach trucks
• Shipping and receiving experience
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
• Continuous improvement mindset

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, IN 46143.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
