Essential Duties Using the approved supplier list, negotiate supplier contracts and terms to secure best quality, delivery and cost for goods and services required by the organization. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, facilitating regular cadence of governance. Monitor supplier performance, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions as needed. Reviews and processes purchase requisitions and purchase orders, maintain purchase order accuracy and ensure compliance with all company policies. Work closely with A/P and Materials team as it relates to purchases, invoices, and receiving. Address day-to-day procurement issues like delivery delays or quality concerns. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs to ensure timely availability of materials. Work with planning and operational excellence team to implement lean practices with supplier such as kanban, min/max or just in time manufacturing processes. Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures. Maintain the supplier master and all purchasing data in the ERP system. Essential Requirements Proficiency in inventory management systems and production planning software. SAP experience preferred. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve. Self-starter with ability to multitask to accommodate business needs. Exceptional negotiation skills; experienced in developing win-win relationships with key suppliers Additional Requirements Experience purchasing electronic components, including printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic assemblies, and related components, is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools. Certifications in supply chain management, such as APICS CPIM or CSCP, are a plus. Ability to travel domestically or Internationally (up to 20%). Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or combination of degree and experience. 2 years of experience or more in procurement, materials management, or supply chain roles. 2 years of experience or more in a manufacturing facility. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mirion Technologies
