BI Data Analyst

Position: Data Analyst Location: Elk Grove, CA or Austin, TX Or Sunnyvale, CA (hybrid) Duration: 12+ Month Contract with Possible extension About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst with a strong foundation in statistical analysis and probability theory. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience using SQL, Tableau, and Python to deliver data-driven insights, build interactive dashboards, and support business decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau for reporting and executive presentations. Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and prepare data from diverse sources for analysis. Write and maintain Python scripts for data cleaning, analysis, and visualization. Apply statistical methods and data science techniques to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights. Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions. Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Required Skills & Experience SQL: 5–10 years (hands-on experience in querying and data manipulation). Tableau: 5–10 years (dashboard creation and reporting). Python: 5–10 years (data analysis, automation, visualization). Statistical Analysis & Probability Theory: 5–10 years. Analytics & Reporting: 5–10 years. Data Visualization & Data Science Techniques: 5–10 years. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication required. Candidate Requirements Consistent, hands-on use of SQL, Tableau, and Python for 5+ years. Strong foundation in probability theory and advanced statistical analysis. Proven ability to communicate insights and recommendations effectively at all organizational levels. Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Pay Range: $70/hr. to $80/hr.
