Registered Nurse - Surge Unit Staffing Schedule This is a night shift position, requiring 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Surge Unit, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Travelers will be assigned to the Resource Center and float between ICU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg units. Ideal candidates should be versatile and proficient in multiple specialties. Responsibilities
- Monitor and care for patients in ICU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain patient documentation using Cerner charting system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Float between units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Charge experience preferred.
- Current RN license in the state required at the time of submission.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Experience in ICU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg preferred.
- Travel experience required.
