Field Service Power Generation Technician

DESCRIPTION We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Memphis, TN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Completing repair activities on generators or components Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of service Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools RESPONSIBILITIES In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. Advanced experience with electrical repair and maintenance Proficient Diesel Engine experience. Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components. Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems. Understanding switchgear schematics. Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics. Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
