JOB SUMMARY:

 

This role is to plan, direct, and coordinate the design, installation, and connectivity of computer systems and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT assets. This role is also responsible for telephone, data center, security systems and other electronic infrastructure. 

 

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Maintaining license and maintenance agreements. 
• Review product hardware/software upgrade and technology refresh requirements with other departments.
• Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration, and installation. 
• Evaluates network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations. 
• Establishes budgetary requirements for equipment replacement. 
• Establishes and controls systems access and security. 
• Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions. 
• Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products. 
• Trains users in the operations of office productivity applications. 
• • Overall awareness and understanding that Hope Global operates within the EMS 14001 & QMS 16949 management systems. 
  • Additional training over the course of the employee's tenure will be given as needed or required and in accordance with the criteria specified in ESP7.2/QSP 7.2.1Training Awareness and Competence. 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

Education/Experience:

 

• Technical or College Degree in Information Technology, Management or related field, and/or advanced networking certifications. 
• Extensive experience required in service provider network with experience managing teams and with responsibility for completing complex projects within budget and on specific timelines. 
• Experience working with network monitoring systems or equivalent experience. 
• Detailed understanding of IP addressing, IP routing protocols, Internet technologies and standards, Internet security issues, web and network access technologies, computer office software suites.

• Develop effective liaisons with outside vendors. Relationships with outside sources that provide benefits for the Company. (e.g., training programs, maintenance contracts for equipment, computer consulting, etc.) 
• Meet 100% of all objectives as established by the CFO.
