Tax Specialist (Fully-remote )

Seeking a practical and operationally-focused Tax & Accounting Specialist to join a specialized accounting firm dedicated to supporting Japanese corporations in the North American market. Tax Preparation & Execution: Manage the practical, end-to-end flow of U.S. federal and state corporate tax filings. You will be responsible for drafting returns and preparing all necessary workpapers and schedules. Accounting Data Review: Conduct meticulous reviews of general ledgers and financial records prepared by the client companies. Identify inconsistencies and ensure data is tax-ready. Consultant Support: Provide critical technical support to the Business / Financial Accounting Consultants. You will prepare the data and documentation they need to deliver strategic advice to clients. Bilingual Documentation: Use your bilingual skills to analyze financial records provided by clients and assist in translating complex U.S. tax requirements into practical summaries for internal and external use. Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00 Working Location Fully Remote or Hybrid (Dallas, TX) Salary / Benefit $60K-$100K Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance Plan 401k Holidays Saturday, Sunday and Company holiday Qualifications 3 - 5+ years of professional experience in an accounting firm. Strong practical knowledge of the U.S. corporate tax filing cycle. Proven ability to independently draft corporate tax returns Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related experience. CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) candidates are welcomed, but practical \"hands-on\" experience is prioritized. Sharp analytical eyes for reviewing/auditing financial data for tax compliance. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.) and advanced Excel.
