Trail Technician I

Job Title
What you'll be doing: Clear new ski slopes and maintain existing slopes in preparation for winter operations Remove trees and vegetation to support summer construction projects Post construction slopes restoration Provide emergency care and transportation for guests and employees (training and certification required) Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively while wearing proper personal protective equipment (boots, gloves, protective eyewear, hearing protection, etc.)
What you'll need to do the job: Ability to follow direction and work independently of direct supervision High level of communication Knowledge on how to safely operate clearing saw, wood-chipper, and hand tools Ability to work outside in various temperatures including heat, cold, and wet Dexterity to maneuver on undeveloped and mountainous terrain Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly Capable of strenuous manual labor for up to 10 hours a day
