Description:

The Construction Field Surveyor assists with the firm’s design teams in the construction administration phase.

Requirements:

• Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in architecture/engineering/Technical degree related to the Architecture/construction industry/Construction Project Management/Superintendent

or

• Inspection services experience. MS Office Suites to include MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities/Skills:

• Monitors project for construction document compliance.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
• Provides existing conditions verification and as-built services (pre and post construction).
• Provides on-site representation services.
• Travel to various project sites from local sites to more remote sites in other states including staying overnight as needed/warranted.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, able to climb ladders, able to handle stressful situations and multi-tasking, able to work under time constraints, long hours may be required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be able to handle stressful situations, multi-tasking, and working within reasonable time constraints to meet production schedules and budgets.
