Reporting to the Production Manager, this individual has a keen understanding of working with chemicals where they will mix, dispense, and label batches according to specifications. If you like attention to detail and safety, this is a great role with visibility to the organization. Some of the day-to-day functions include weigh up, mix, dispensing, packaging, and labeling of compound materials. In this position, your shift will be from 6:00AM-2:30PM.

• Read work orders and batch cards to determine production specifications and information.
• Precision weigh up of powders, solvents, liquids, gums, rubbers, paint, and other conductive chemicals.
• Sift, package, and label powders to bring workflow to completion for other departments.
• Perform mixing operation to batch card requirements.
• Dispense material into proper containers.
• Print, label, and package required product and complete basic packaging.
• Run extruder, and compression molding machines to create quality control samples for batch testing.
• Record production information using Day by Hour.
• Perform quality checks as needed to maintain a clean and safe work area. Sustain safety and 5S program.
• Other job duties as assigned.

• US citizenship or permanent US resident status required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of manufacturing experience or batch making required.
• Must have knowledge of weights and be able to use a scale as well as math skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced department and be able to multi-task.
• Effective communication skills; written as well as verbal.
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic English required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.

Competitive Compensation

• Pay Range: $20.5/hr to $33.5/hr
• Participation in Annual Incentive Program
