Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the upcoming school year. Full-time contract opportunities are available for dedicated RBTs eager to make a difference in the educational setting near Hazel Green, AL. Multiple positions are open, with immediate starts preferred; you’ll work closely with a supervising BCBA and become a valued resource for students from elementary through high school.
As an RBT in this role, you’ll be assigned to one site, working consistent school-day hours—punctuality and flexibility are essential given school schedules and the need for reliable support throughout the day. Assignments and school details may be provided 1–2 days prior to your start, so adaptability is key.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active or inactive Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (certification must be current upon start; expired credentials not accepted)
- Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational, behavioral, or therapeutic setting
- Professional, flexible approach to changing assignments or schedules as requested
- Ability to follow detailed behavioral intervention plans under BCBA supervision
- Commitment to consistent, dependable attendance aligning with school hours
Your Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans with integrity and empathy
- Collect and accurately record data on students’ behavioral progress
- Collaborate with teaching teams and supervision BCBA for ongoing training and feedback
- Adapt to various educational environments across grade levels as needed
This position offers a consistent 35-hour workweek following the academic calendar, beginning as soon as possible and running through late May. Compensation ranges from $24–$25 per hour, reflecting your skills and dedication.
