Position Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C) Overview The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA‑C) supports providers in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care. Key Duties Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting Administer medications and immunizations per protocol Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model Qualifications Graduate of an approved MA program Current MA‑C license (or MA‑Interim with certification within 90 days) BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days) Ambulatory care experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Fast‑paced outpatient setting May require travel to other clinic locations Compensation and Schedule Starting Wage: $24.09 per hour Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (can be edited based on need) Hourly plan: 24.09 USD per hour Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription coverage Life Insurance, Long Term Disability, EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Paid‑time‑off starting at 24 days per year + 10 paid Holidays 401(k)/Retirement options About Sea Mar Sea Mar is an equal opportunity employer.
