Quality Technician – 1st ShiftPay: Low $20s/hrLocation: Statesville, NCA manufacturing company is hiring a Quality Technician to support production and quality operations within the facility. This role focuses on inspecting parts and products, supporting quality processes, and helping resolve manufacturing quality issues.Key Responsibilities:Perform inspections on parts and products during production using CMM equipmentComplete inspection reports and documentationAssist with capability studies and gage R&R studiesSupport corrective actions and continuous improvement projectsRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsWork closely with production and quality teams to resolve issuesRequirements:High school diploma or GEDExperience with CMM equipment and quality inspection processesKnowledge of metric measurements, GD&T, PPAP, layout inspection, and corrective actionsUnderstanding of quality systems such as ISO or IATF standards preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred:Hexagon Scanning Arm experience is a plusPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 75 lbs occasionallyComfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, dust, and PPE requirementsThis position is ideal for someone with manufacturing quality experience who is detail-oriented and comfortable working directly on the production floor.
