Xfinity Field Sales Consultant

Overview Responsible for the promotion and sale of Comcast products and services, including video, high‑speed Internet, voice and XFINITY Home, within an assigned territory. Responsibilities Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Comcast products and effectively promote and sell offerings to individual customers. Display thorough and recent competitive knowledge of features, benefits, pricing and campaigns. Communicate and develop rapport with customers, evaluating their existing and potential product needs to make recommendations. Increase customer understanding of Comcast products, pricing models and competitive advantages. Evaluate competitive offers and frame responses to highlight benefits of Comcast. Create and execute turf‑management plans independently, using experience‑based sales techniques. Show confidence in selling ability and maintain competent time‑management and organizational skills. Meet and exceed sales goals established by local market, and independently plan daily sales activities. Generate business through approved lead‑generation methods and implement effective sales closing techniques. Maintain a consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales environment. Demonstrate advanced understanding of video, high‑speed internet, voice and XFINITY Home, and possess effective communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills. Show strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases). Meet physical requirements of the job, including walking and traveling door‑to‑door for considerable distances in all types of weather. Obtain and maintain credentials and/or licenses necessary to sell and/or design alarm systems as required by law. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to walk and/or travel door‑to‑door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions, and to work nights, weekends, and overtime. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma / GED. Relevant Certifications (if applicable). Relevant Work Experience: 2–5 years in a similar sales role.
