Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Chandler, AZ | Full-Time
Pay Range: $46.00–$51.00/hour (DOE)

Overview:

Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support cardiac imaging in mobile and fixed clinical settings. Responsible for radiopharmaceutical preparation, radiation safety, quality control, and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer IV radiopharmaceuticals under physician supervision
• Calculate, measure, and document radiation doses
• Perform equipment calibration and quality control
• Handle and dispose of radioactive materials per regulations
• Process and document cardiac imaging studies
• Educate patients and ensure safety compliance
• Maintain inventory, documentation, and cleanliness of work areas
• Participate in RSO meetings and regulatory compliance activities
  

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine
• CNMT or ARRT (N) certification (required)
• State licensure as applicable
• BLS certification
• Cardiac experience preferred; new grads welcome
  

Skills:

• Strong patient care and communication
• Knowledge of radiation safety and lab procedures
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 30 lbs; push/pull up to 300 lbs
• Comfortable working in a mobile unit
