Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float Casual to join our team in Phoenix, AZ; primarily in the East Valley and surrounding areas.Work Schedule: This is a casual/PRN position; hours will be "as needed" but the start and end times will vary from Monday – Saturday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm.Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:2 years or more experience as a phlebotomistCurrent or Prior Labcorp experienceAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceBe at least 21 years of ageValid Driver's License and clean driving recordReliable transportationStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testAs a Float Phlebotomist Casual, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience.
