We are seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Sciences to join our Clinical Development Unit, supporting our clinical programs in a matrixed, cross-functional environment. In this role, you will lead the design, execution, and scientific interpretation of clinical studies across early and late phase development, ensuring the integrity of study data and the safety of patients. You will collaborate closely with Medical Directors, regulatory, and other cross-functional partners to move promising candidates forward. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.When & where:Location: Tarrytown, NY, Warren, NJ, Cambridge, MAWork model/flexibility: Primarily on-site with hybrid flexibilityDiscover your role:Lead or support clinical science strategy for a program, serving as lead Clinical Scientist or delegate to the Therapeutic Area LeadPartner with Medical Directors to design and deliver clinical studies grounded in disease biology and current literatureDevelop the Expanded Synopsis and author or review the clinical sections of protocols, amendments, and study reportsPrepare medical monitoring plans, SAPs, and informed consents, and resolve cross-functional comments with minimal guidancePerform clinical data review and safety monitoring to protect patient safety and data integrityPresent at program team meetings, advisory boards, steering committees, DMCs, and investigator meetingsIdentify risks, design mitigation strategies, and drive process improvements across studiesInfluence across functions and mentor junior colleagues with confidence, creativity, and professional diplomacyThis role requires:Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of pharmaceutical clinical drug development experience (other levels considered depending on experience)Proficient knowledge of the drug development process, ICH/GCP guidelines, study design, and clinical research methodologyDemonstrated leadership in conducting global clinical trials and executing clinical programsStrong cross-functional leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills in a matrix environmentSolid medical writing skillsPreferred: Advanced degree in life science or healthcare (PhD, MD, PharmD, or MSc)Preferred: Proven track record of clinical trial process improvements and experience across early and late phase developmentDoes this sound like you?
