Job Description:

Role – Specialty

Schedule - Weekend requirement: Yes — every other weekend

Call: May be required depending on patient census

Assignment Details:

Rooms/Beds: 7 rooms / 14 beds

Avg. Daily Census: 10

Requirements:

Minimum nursing experience: 2 years

Rehab experience: 1 year rehab experience is a hard stop

Required certifications: BLS

EMR: Epic (required)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide acute inpatient rehabilitation care to adults and geriatric patients.

Utilize mobilization techniques and manage medical equipment as appropriate.

Implement care plans for patients with diagnoses including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic conditions.

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage wounds and feeding devices.

Support patients in rehabilitation activities including physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

Compliance / Notes:

CA RN license: Must have valid CA license in hand; pending licenses NOT accepted

Submission requirements: SSN, DOB, RTO must be included at time of submission

References: 2 references covering 1 year of recent experience required during compliance

Pre-approved time off: One request allowed

Holiday requirement: Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination/forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
