Maggie Deng GEICO Insurance is looking for a driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our team in Port St. Lucie. We’re open to both licensed insurance professionals and motivated entry-level candidates . If you’re not currently licensed, that’s okay—you’ll need to obtain your required insurance license, and we’ll support you through the process. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply , although bilingual skills are not required. What You'll Do
- Connect with new and existing customers to understand their insurance needs.
- Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate coverage.
- Prepare quotes and explain coverage options, discounts, and products.
- Follow up with leads, referrals, and prospective customers.
- Generate new business and work toward individual and team sales goals.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and coverage.
- Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent service throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate customer information and agency records.
- Participate in ongoing training and coaching to develop your insurance and sales skills.
- Active insurance license is preferred, but unlicensed candidates are welcome to apply and must obtain a license upon hire .
- Previous insurance or sales experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Coachable and willing to learn.
- Professional, dependable, and organized.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new technology.
- Able to work independently while contributing to a team.
