Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a healthcare facility located in Greenville, North Carolina. This position involves providing quality patient care within a 32-bed flex unit that encompasses intermediate and general care, primarily serving oncology patients and those requiring surgical intervention. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Greenville, North Carolina
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on June 15, 2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (NC or Compact License), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, 0 years of experience, ability to read and interpret electrocardiogram strips, experience with EPIC electronic health record system, travel experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Progressive Care Unit, familiarity with oncology patient care, ability to float to areas of equal or lesser care
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to read and interpret electrocardiogram strips. Self-scheduling is required, and all time-off requests must be approved prior to confirmation. The assignment involves working in a multidisciplinary team managing surgical and benign surgical patients, with a focus on oncology cases excluding brain or lung surgeries. The position may require floating to other areas of similar or lower care levels within the facility.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
