Java Backend Automation Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Java Backend Automation Lead to join our team in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend technologies and experience in automating data pipelines and test cases. You will play a key role in the end-to-end lifecycle of monetization and automation processes. This includes maintaining and enhancing our in-house test suite, which supports Client's item listing and charging flow.

Automate existing data pipelines and scripts, focusing on monetization and end-to-end automation processes. Enhance and maintain the in-house test suite, ensuring all items listed on client go through the charging flow. Write code that covers all test cases (approximately 1,000), including revising items and adding/removing features. Quickly ramp up on the domain, particularly in niche areas, and unblock any existing test cases. Design and implement systems using Java, Oracle, Data Warehouse, and SQL technologies.

Requirement:

• Proficient in Java with extensive experience in backend development.
• Strong experience with Oracle, Data Warehouse, and SQL.
• Ability to design and implement large-scale systems.
• Solid foundation in software design and development, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in software design and development, with a focus on large-scale application development.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and web services, including REST/JSON.
• Experience with large-scale data analysis and building machine learning models for forecasting and prediction is a plus.
• Knowledge of Node.js, React.js, and JavaScript is desirable.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Self-motivated, quick learner with excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
