Customer Service / Order Entry Coordinator (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Irving, TX

Pay: $21/hr

Seeking a Customer Service/Order Entry Coordinator to support a busy and growing Tile company. This position plays a key role in providing exceptional customer service while managing order entry, invoicing, and administrative responsibilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn a new industry. Comprehensive training will be provided—no tile or slab industry experience is required.

Please note: This positions is not a sales position.

What You'll Do

Slab Department Responsibilities

In this highly interactive and customer-focused environment, you will:

• Welcome and escort customers through the warehouse to view slab selections
• Present slab options and explain available products and services
• Guide homeowners through the slab selection process from start to finish
• Assist approximately 30–40 homeowners per day, including both appointments and walk-in visitors
• Process customer approvals and related documentation
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the selection process

Tile Department Responsibilities

You will also provide administrative and customer support by:

• Entering customer orders received via email
• Answering incoming calls regarding products, orders, and general inquiries
• Assisting customers picking up orders
• Creating invoices and processing transactions
• Coordinating and managing customer orders
• Communicating with vendors and suppliers as needed

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable handling phones, order entry, invoicing, and administrative tasks
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new products and processes
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday Rotation: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Two Saturdays on, two Saturdays off
  • Saturday hours paid at overtime rates
• Closed Sundays

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
