Title Sr. Manager, People & Experience Business Partner – Enterprise Functions Reporting to Senior Director, People & Experience Business Partner Location Remote – United States (eligible to work in Arizona, California, Oregon, Utah, Washington) Role Overview Serve as a key People & Experience Business Partner (PXBP) for Digital & Data, Finance, and Legal client groups, collaborating with PX COE leads, regional partners, and senior business leaders to implement People & Experience programs aligned with business strategy, talent strategy, and cultural objectives. Build trusted relationships, drive people strategies, and support organizational growth and transformation. Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business and talent objectives into scalable people strategies and providing counsel on talent management, organization design, and compensation. Coach and develop leaders, strengthening leadership capabilities across a population of 300+ employees. Maintain a deep understanding of client business strategy and its impact on cross‑functional teams. Align functional talent plans with future capability requirements to support Deckers’ strategic growth plans. Develop and execute change‑management plans to support organizational growth and evolution. Identify and act on signals through employee surveys, talent data, and regular connection, proactively addressing issues or gaps. Partner with COEs to drive solutions across talent acquisition, learning & development, change management, retention, DEI, and career development. Collaborate with other PXBP teams and PX COEs to ensure a common understanding of business needs and inter‑dependencies. Champion global talent priorities and support rollout of Deckers people practices, including performance management, headcount planning, goal setting, compensation processes, and workforce planning. Advocate for diversity, equity, belonging, and inclusion in all people practices. Support seamless PX experiences across the global business, ensuring consistency and quality. Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives and lead or participate in select projects beyond assigned client groups. Develop and manage a high‑performing PX team, fostering continuous learning, collaboration, and best‑practice sharing. Implement special cross‑functional projects as identified. Qualifications 4‑year degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience. 9+ years of progressive HR experience as an HRBP or similar in a matrixed, high‑growth environment. Experience collaborating with COEs, regional/global HR leaders, and senior business leaders. Strong influencing and partnership skills. Proven ability to implement holistic talent plans for attraction, development, retention, and succession. Future‑focused talent strategy experience partnered with COEs. Team‑oriented, collaborative, and humble approach with a big‑picture mindset. Relationship builder with ability to prioritize deliverables and ensure client satisfaction. Good judgment balancing business, culture, manager, and employee needs. Ability to synthesize complex situations into action‑oriented formats. Knowledge of DEI principles across the employee lifecycle. Strong business acumen and problem‑solving skills; proficiency in people analytics. Active listening, effective influencing, and trust establishment at all levels. Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and consulting regional experts when needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; analytical capability to distill insights from people analytics. Workday knowledge is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, scaling, and agile environment. Salary Estimated range: $137,500.00–$185,600.00 for Goleta, California (Remote).
