Warehouse Operations Manager

Warehouse Operations Manager

We're looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily operations in our small but busy warehouse. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, improving processes, and keeping a tight ship. You'll manage inventory, coordinate shipping/receiving, maintain safety standards, and ensure the warehouse runs efficiently every day.

Key Responsibilities

Daily operations — Oversee picking, packing, receiving, and shipping workflows.
Inventory management — Maintain accurate stock counts, conduct cycle counts, and reduce shrink.
Team leadership — Train, coach, and schedule a small warehouse staff.
Process improvement — Identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.
Safety compliance — Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Vendor & carrier coordination — Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
Equipment oversight — Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment are maintained and safe.

Required Skills & Experience

Warehouse experience in a small or mid-sized facility
Strong understanding of inventory systems (ERP/WMS)
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet
Proven leadership or supervisory experience
Solid communication and problem-solving skills
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Familiarity with shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, Freight)

Nice-to-Have

Experience with lean operations
Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment
