Dynamic opportunities are available for experienced school-based social workers interested in contributing to the success and well-being of students. Two full-time contract positions are open: one serving a high school caseload and the other supporting elementary students. Both roles are onsite and require a commitment to providing timely and impactful evaluations, with the potential for extension.

Key Details:

• Contract positions, 35 hours/week, Monday through Friday
• Assignments begin August 31, 2026
  • High school position: Ends October 9, 2026
  • Elementary position: Ends September 30, 2026
• Each offers a robust and supportive environment focused on student growth
• Onsite roles — no virtual component
• Primarily evaluation-focused caseloads
• Opportunity for assignment extension based on client needs

Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) license and CT (071) certification
• Demonstrated experience working in K-12 schools, particularly with evaluation responsibilities
• Comfortable with onsite, short-term leave assignments
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, students, and families to support student outcomes
• Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview during the selection process
• Candidates must submit licensure/certification documentation with their application

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students referred for social work services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop plans to support student success
• Document findings and communicate recommendations to staff and stakeholders
• Provide short-term, targeted interventions as needed within assignment duration
