This role requires a professional skilled in performing MRI procedures without constant supervision. The work environment is in an acute care setting utilizing advanced equipment such as the Philips Ingenia 1.5 and Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector.

Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Perform MRI procedures according to protocols established by radiologists
• Apply independent judgment in MRI scanning techniques for both adult and pediatric patients
• Prepare and screen patients and objects for magnet safety before entering the MRI room
• Assume responsibility for designated area and procedures performed

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• MR certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience (manager approved)
