Quality Coordinator

Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about maintaining top-tier production standards? We are looking for a skilled Quality Coordinator to join our team and oversee quality control across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Testing: Inspect incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished products using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and GD&T principles.

• CMM Operation: Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect standard and custom parts.

• Data & Reporting: Analyze test results, compute defect percentages, and generate clear inspection and compliance reports.

• Quality Assurance: Reject non-conforming materials, monitor live production processes, and calibrate testing tools to ensure continuous accuracy.

• Team Collaboration: Partner with supervisors and production staff to identify root causes of errors and implement corrective action plans.

Qualifications & Core Competencies

• background in manufacturing quality control, material specs (seals, gaskets), and blueprint interpretation.
• Functional knowledge of GD&T standards and CMM programming.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High level of accuracy, accountability, ethical conduct, and safety awareness.

Key duties include inspecting incoming shipments, operating and programming equipment like CMM machines using GD&T principles, and testing products using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. You will analyze test data, compute defect rates, write detailed inspection reports, and reject any items that fall short of standards. Additionally, you will monitor production processes, calibrate and maintain testing instruments, and collaborate with teams and supervisors to resolve quality issues and recommend corrective actions. Candidates must be highly detailed, organized, dependable, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
