Senior Business Analyst in healthcare/clinical domain - Hartford, CT/Remote Pay Rate – $60-65/Hr Experience Required: 10 & Above

Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between clinical stakeholders, business teams, and IT, translating clinical and operational needs into clear business and system requirements.
• Partner with clinical, operational, and product stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop current-state and future-state process flows, workflows, and data flow diagrams.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.

Analyze clinical workflows such as:

• Utilization Management
• Care Management
• Claims
• Provider interactions

Support system integrations involving:

• APIs
• File-based integrations
• HL7/FHIR interfaces
• Downstream reporting consumers
• Participate in UAT planning and execution, ensuring solutions meet clinical and regulatory needs.
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process optimization and system modernization.
• Ensure alignment with healthcare regulations and standards, including:
• HIPAA
• CMS
• Medicare guidelines

Act as a liaison between business SMEs, clinical users, and technical teams throughout delivery. Skills

• Clinical workflows
• Payer systems

Experience with:

• Requirements elicitation
• Process modeling
• Documentation

Working knowledge of healthcare data interoperability standards:

• HL7
• FHIR (preferred)
