About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Tennessee**Start Date:** October 5, 2026 **Location:** Hermitage, Tennessee **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Rotating shifts with every other weekend requirement; 6:1 patient ratio (days), 7:1 patient ratio (nights)**Highlights:** - 33-bed medical-surgical unit located on the 5th floor of main campus- Strong support staff including 3 techs per shift and unit secretary coverage during day shift- Meditech electronic documentation system- Standard equipment includes IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs- Float rotation to other appropriate units as needed based on hospital census- Multiple positions available for qualified candidates**Requirements:** - Current Tennessee RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date- Medical-surgical nursing experience preferred- BLS certification required- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and every other weekend**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in a well-supported medical-surgical environment with excellent nurse-to-patient ratios and experienced ancillary staff.
