Job Title: Food Expo Team Member
Location: Laurel, Maryland
Reports to: Shift Manager / Store Manager
Position Summary:
We are looking for energetic, team-oriented Food Expo Team Members to join our fast-paced sandwich shop and ice cream parlor. In this role, you will work across multiple stations to prepare delicious sandwiches, fries, ice cream, and milkshakes while delivering great customer service in a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work the sandwich line, preparing and assembling high-quality sandwiches.
- Wrap sandwiches accurately and efficiently for dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders.
- Operate the fryer station to prepare fresh French fries.
- Prepare ice cream and milkshakes with consistency and presentation standards.
- Handle cashier duties including taking orders, processing payments, and providing friendly service.
- Answer phone calls, accurately take call-in orders, and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Assist where needed most during rushes to support the team and keep service fast and efficient.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times, following food safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.
Requirements:
- Previous food service experience is a plus but not required — we provide training.
- Positive attitude, strong team player, and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable with handling cash, using a POS system, and multitasking.
- Flexible availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- ServSafe or food handler certification (or willingness to obtain).
