This advanced professional has primary responsibility for determining appropriate accounting for the diverse business transactions for the operations of the Premera group of companies. He/she provides technical consultation for multi-company accounting functions for Premera Blue Cross and its subsidiaries, a $3 billion group of companies. Accountabilities require accounting knowledge, strong analytical capabilities to solve problems and strong technology skills to continuously improve accuracy, workload capacity and process efficiency. He/she exhibits a commitment to our customers by demonstrating excellence, initiative, innovation, adaptability, and teamwork. Primary responsibilities will include coordination and hands-on support with: General Accounting Support, GAAP and Statutory-Regulatory Reporting, Tax, coordination with Internal & External Auditors, including coordination with OIC (Office of the Insurance Commissioner), and Accounting Process Automation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
