Fund Accountant

Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Location: Midtown, NYC Hybrid Schedule The firm is a $30B+ true alternative asset manager with strategies including Private Equity, Credit, and Real Estate with a 30-year track record. Due to growth, the firm is currently recruiting a Senior Fund Accountant to report directly into their CFO in a dynamic position that will encompass all aspects of fund accounting on their private equity portfolio. Further, the expectation is that this role would eventually evolve to cover a variety of asset classes. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a world class firm and get exposure to very complex/exciting deals. Responsibilities Perform the accounting and reporting functions for the firms funds and managed accounts. Be a key member helping out with the month, quarter, and year-end close process Help with capital calls, distributions, and reconciliations Work with the fund administrators Audit/tax support Compliance reporting Respond to investor requests and special projects as they arise Various other analyses/reporting with respect to the investments and operations of the Funds and managed accounts.
