Senior Staff Accountant

Keithly-Williams Seeds, a multi-national vegetable seed dealer is looking for a highly qualified Senior Accountant to add to our growing accounting department. We are growing and expanding our business and looking for an accounting professional to grow with us.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for accounting for multiple divisions, including journal entries, budgets, audits and analysis. This position will also work with the recording, allocation of expenditures and reporting of all standard and actual variable cost data.


Educational Skills:
1. bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business with an emphasis in accounting


Experience and Background:
1. Minimum of 5 years general accounting/finance experience

2. Cost Accounting experience a plus

3. Experience working in a manufacturing, farming, or nursery environment, preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central or other ERP systems.
2. Intermediate level and high proficiency experience with Microsoft Excel required
3. Ability to self-motivate, detail orientated, problem solve and dedicated individual.

4. Excellent analytical, communications, quantitative and interpersonal skills.

5. Strong problem solving and research oriented. Sense of urgency and focus on execution/details.

6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams

7. Communicate both written and verbally

8. Bilingual - English / Spanish, preferred not required
