We’re seeking a CMM programming specialist to transform drawings, CAD, and customer specifications into bulletproof inspection routines that keep our aerospace parts in tolerance and our first articles audit-ready.

Role Details

• Location: Auburn, WA (100% on-site)
• Employment: Full-time
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
• Compensation: $36.00 – $45.00 per hour

Your Impact

• Develop, verify, and sustain CMM programs that prove conformance to drawings, GD&T, and customer requirements.
• Lead dimensional inspections and complete AS9102 First Article Inspections with clear, accurate reporting.
• Engineer alignments, probing and scanning strategies, and advise on fixtures for repeatability.
• Set up complex part orientations for dependable measurements.
• Diagnose and resolve CMM and measurement variation issues in partnership with Production and Quality.
• Maintain organized programs, inspection records, and quality documentation.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Minimum 2 years programming and running CMMs.
• Fluency in MCOSMOS or equivalent (PC-DMIS, Calypso).
• Working mastery of GD&T per ASME Y14.5; ability to interpret complex aerospace drawings and CAD data.
• Ability to build datum frameworks, create robust alignments, and optimize probe paths/scan routines.
• Competence with precision gauges: micrometers, calipers, height/bore gauges, etc.
• Strong cross-functional communication across machining, programming, engineering, and Quality.
• Comfort with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High School Diploma or GED; capable of lifting up to 60 pounds.

Preferred Background

• Aerospace or precision machining experience.
• Hands-on AS9102 FAI execution and report preparation.
• Exposure to AS9100 and ISO quality systems.
