Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will drive patrol routes, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine inspections, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting protocols.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
