School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Anoka, Minnesota

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a vibrant school setting. This contract position spans from late August 2026 to June 2027, where youll play a vital role in helping young children ages 3-5 foster essential communication skills. Work closely with an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) caseload and collaborate with a caring, multidisciplinary team, making a lasting impact throughout the academic year. Requirements and Desired Experience: Active Minnesota SLP license (required for presentation) Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Previous experience working in school or early childhood settings strongly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse learning needs Dedication to fostering inclusivity, family involvement, and student growth Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for children with speech and language delays and disorders Provide direct therapy services to ECSE students ages 3-5 in both group and one-on-one settings Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support each childs progress Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed Engage in ongoing communication with parents and caregivers about student goals and achievements Contribute to a positive, collaborative school environment Benefits and Perks: Consistent Monday Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year Opportunity to create meaningful, positive change for young students Supportive work environment with likeminded professionals healthcare benefits housing meals/incidentals Compensation for this position ranges from $23.75 to $88.00.
