About This Role
Providing nurturing care and education to students, focusing on their developmental needs in a safe and stimulating environment.
What You'll Do- Foster a learning environment that stimulates child growth and development
- Create and implement lesson plans following the curriculum
- Ensure a clean and healthy classroom atmosphere
- Ensure compliance with OCFS regulations
- Create and develop strong parent and child relationships
- CDA certification in Infant Toddler or Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or NYS Certification (Birth through Grade 2)
- 2 years of working experience in childcare, including at least 1 year in a lead teacher role.

Jericho STEM Academy is an OCFS-licensed preschool program that provides a nurturing environment designed for children from 6 weeks old to pre-K. Our goal is to prepare your children for success in all aspects of their lives. Our STEM curriculum is aligned with New York State standards and designed to ensure your child thrives academically and socially.

At Jericho STEM Academy, we recognize that every child is unique. Our flexible learning approach supports individual growth and development. We offered flexible scheduling options, including 2 to 5 day fixability schedules with half-day and full-day availability. Extended care was also available.
