Clinical Research Coordinator IIThe newly formed Clinical Research Support Office, within the Senior Vice Chancellor of Health Science is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II. The individual in this role primary responsibilities include coordinating working with the PI and study team of record to screen, enroll and randomize study recruits. This individual will be responsible for study management duties, as required by protocol. Coordinator experience preferred. This position will require travel from in and around Pitt and UPMC campuses.Conducts research assessments on study participants. Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Assists with training staff on proper and best study research techniques as directed. Mentors and educates staff and student workers as directed. Ensures proper protocols are followed and quality assurance of research and related work. Corrects data collection issues.Physical Effort: Standing and sitting for long periods. Walking around campus. Reading small print. Bending and lifting up to 10 pounds.
