This role involves working collaboratively with the kitchen team to provide a memorable dining experience for guests, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Availability: Must be available: Monday (evenings), Saturday & Sunday (day shifts) Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets presentation standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the planning and execution of catering events, providing exceptional service and attention to detail. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring efficient use of resources. Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. QualificationsRequired Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a cook in a professional kitchen setting Preferred Experience: 2 years of experience in a culinary role Administrative experience related to kitchen operations Experience in catering services Required Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food quality Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent time management abilities to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong communication skills for effective interaction with kitchen staff and management #J-18808-Ljbffr
