Plant Manager

Description Our Client, an aggregates company, is seeking an experienced Pit Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Chico. As the Pit Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. This is a full-time position that requires on-site work and offers a competitive salary package. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors and operators Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer demand Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate supply of raw materials and finished goods Requirements: Minimum of 7 years of experience in plant management or a quarry. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Strong communication and interpersonal skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
