Pay Range: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

In this role, you'll support a broad range of HR functions, including payroll administration, employee records management, compliance tracking, benefits coordination, onboarding, and recruiting activities. What You'll Be Responsible For

• Support weekly payroll processing activities while maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy.
• Prepare and submit payroll-related tax payments and retirement contribution transactions.
• Process employee garnishments and employment-related documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Review and reconcile monthly benefits invoices and assist with benefits administration tasks.
• Monitor FMLA and other employee leave programs, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking.
• Respond to employment verification requests and maintain supporting records.
• Track Form I-9 documentation, monitor expiration deadlines, and assist with ongoing compliance audits.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure completion of required new-hire paperwork.
• Prepare offer letters and assist with recruiting-related administrative processes.
• Schedule interviews and support communication throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate employee records and safeguard confidential personnel information.
• Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as assigned by HR leadership.

To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Bring

• 1+ years of Human Resources AND payroll experience.
• Proven ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence learning new systems.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
