We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong background in Softeon WMS Administration to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on warehouse management systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our software solutions and optimize warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions for warehouse management systems, specifically utilizing Softeon WMS.
- Administer and maintain the Softeon WMS environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct system testing and debugging to ensure high quality software delivery.
- Provide technical support and training to end users on Softeon WMS functionalities.
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Document software development processes, technical specifications, and user manuals.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software development and warehouse management.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in Softeon WMS Administration.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with database management systems, including SQL Server or Oracle.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and services.
- Experience in integrating third party applications with WMS.
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on warehouse management systems.
- Proven experience in Softeon WMS Administration is a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
