Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract, full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 25 students, providing essential support and guidance as they achieve their goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current OT license in the state
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy (PK-12 preferred)
• Working knowledge of Medicaid procedures and requirements
• Comfortable using ECATS to document notes and student progress
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments for students referred for OT services and develop individualized treatment plans based on each student’s unique needs
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy to students on the caseload
• Document all services and progress notes accurately within ECATS to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with the special education team to participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student programming
• Train and advise staff and family members on strategies and accommodations to foster each student’s success
• Support the development of fine motor, sensory processing, and functional life skills across academic settings
