Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina
• Demonstrated experience in school settings with students from PreK-12th grade
• Proficiency in Medicaid documentation, billing, and filing procedures
• Knowledge and familiarity with ECATS or similar electronic note-keeping systems
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage and prioritize a moderate caseload effectively
• Collaborative spirit to work closely with educational teams and families

Your Role:

• Evaluate and assess students to determine specific therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized and group-based intervention plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and submit Medicaid claims as required
• Input daily notes and data into ECATS according to school and regulatory guidelines
• Support educational teams in adapting learning environments and materials
• Communicate progress and strategies with families and staff to maximize student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in OT-related accommodations
