As a Licensed Barber at our hair lounge, you will serve a diverse clientele cutting and grooming hair for men, women, and children. You will use a variety of tools including electric clippers, scissors, and safety razors in a clean, professional environment. This commission-based role offers a personal station with no rent or chair fees, allowing you to focus fully on providing quality grooming services.
Responsibilities
- Cut hair and trim beards for clients of all ages and hair types
- Consult with clients to understand their grooming preferences
- Maintain sanitation standards and clean tools regularly
- Perform routine tool maintenance to ensure safety and functionality
- Recommend hair care products based on client needs
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in barbering
- Hair school diploma
- Independent contractor license
- Valid barber or hair design license
- Proficiency in hair cutting techniques and beard grooming
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of sanitation practices
- Effective time management and communication abilities
- Attention to detail
