Business Development Specialist $65k-$85k

Whitman Advisory is hiring a Business Development Specialist for a leading law firm. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and dynamic Marketing and Business Development team and play a key role in supporting firmwide business development, marketing, client engagement, and strategic growth initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong legal marketing experience, excellent writing and communication skills, high attention to detail, and a genuine interest in growing within the legal marketing and business development space. Key Responsibilities: Draft and coordinate pitches, RFP responses, award submissions, and league table submissions. Work closely with Business Development Managers, firm leadership, and partners on marketing and business development initiatives. Maintain practice group information, including experience, marketing collateral, website content, client profiles, and market intelligence. Update and manage data in CRM and experience databases. Develop a strong understanding of the firm’s practices, clients, competitors, and market positioning. Support conferences, events, seminars, webinars, and other client engagement initiatives. Conduct research on prospective clients, industries, markets, competitors, and events. Prepare reports and materials to support business development efforts. Assist with additional marketing and business development projects as needed. Qualifications: 2–3 years of legal marketing experience, preferably with a business development focus. Strong writing, communication, organization, and project management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail, especially with marketing data and database management. Strong commitment to internal and external client service. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. Experience with Canva, Vuture, CRM systems, experience databases, website CMS, or other legal marketing tools preferred.
